Kit #455R.  Built by Bill Stamm, a Boeing engineer, and first flown in May 1986.  This fiberglass beauty cruises at a blistering 205mph while burning only 8 gallons of fuel per hour.  The Prius of the sky...no that would be unfair.  Priuses (Preii? pl) are slow and have spartan interiors and no character.  N729S is more like a 1986 Porsche 911, beauty through purpose.  Every single piece on the aircraft serves a purpose, and has been hand crafted with care.  

With 42gal of fuel,  non-stop trips from Charlotte, NC to Key West, FL are possible in just three hours and forty five minutes.  With supple wool seats, black walnut stick grips, and "glass panel" avionics that exceed the capabilities of most business jets, it is truly a personal airliner.
